Buenas Ondas, it's live and energy! In other words, it's true
fiesta!
Aliving and moving sound, a music that draws its
inspiration from the surrounding world, in its sadder and funniest times : here
are the maincomponents of this multicultural Belgian group from Brussels.
Born from 2 different cultures, Buenas Ondas
marries/combines various musical influences. The band grows/evolves into
reggae, ska and funky-rap. A tasty cocktail of mixed musical styles along with
some deeply involved/committed French & Spanish songs, composed with
metaphors inspired by the everyday life, swinging between Hispanic melodies and the rapping sound of
Ché Guero (from Buenos Aires).
Buenas Ondas privileges the contact with the stage and
its audience : the exploding concerts and the highly positive energy contribute
to the band's strength. Each member adds a personal touch emanate from a
different musical culture, the band works as a collective, with often new
musicians, and also dancers, a true
luchador and a lot of surprises. But always the same positive message : Buenas
Ondas disseminates good vibes in a hectic world !!
Debut self-produced album « Pura Vida » was
released in 2008. Latest album released in 2010 : « La Lucha
Sigue »… A new single shoud be played on radio airways before next June
and a special show with surprise guests and new musicians will be presented, specialy for Inc'rock on May 8th, then Couleur
Café festival, on June 26th and Dour Festival on July 14th.
More gigs and fiestas later this summer...
