7 WEEKS, the respected French post-stoner band, releases his new album ‘A farewell to dawn’, out on november 2016 via Overpowered Records (Suburban Records in Benelux).

The band was formed in April 2006 in Limoges, France by Julien Bernard (Lead-Bass) et Jeremy Cantin-Gaucher (Drums). Years of hard labour shaped a distinct and cohesive sound maturing from stoner rock influence merged with some alternative nuances into a more inventive proposition by incorporating tension, power and sensibility to create organic songs crossed by synthetic sounds.

Produced by Francis Castes in Paris, ‘A Farewell to Dawn’ follows ‘Carnivora’ (2013) which sent the band on the European roads for more than 100 gigs stopping by the Hellfest Open Air (Fr), the Rock For People Festival(Cz Republic) and the Stone Festival(Spain) for the most famous or opening for such diverse acts as Suicidal Tendencies, Infectious Grooves, Placebo, Arctic Monkeys, The Datsuns, Brant Bjork, The Damned, Triggerfinger…
